How to Apply

Step 1: Submit the Application

The 2025-2026 New Student Application is now closed. If you would like to join our interest list, you can do so by clicking here: Interest List for 2025-2026 School Year. New Student Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will open September 2025 - check back in August for updated Admissions Information and Event Dates! If your HS student is interested in taking a single online course or a fully online schedule, click here to apply.

If you have already started an application with us, you are welcome to complete your checklist to receive an admissions decision. Please note that admissions decisions will be issued mid-February and on a rolling basis after that. Anyone that completes their checklist after February 14th will have a higher likelihood of being placed in the Waiting Pool.

Please note that the admissions email box is monitored 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and you will receive a response as soon as possible the next business day.
  
  

Step 2: Review and Complete Application Checklist Items

  • Administrator & Teacher Recommendations

    Provide the name and email address for a current administrator and English teacher into the checklist item’s form. Administrator recommendations can come from a Principal, Vice Principal, or Dean of your current school. This will be marked complete when we receive the completed recommendations from both the english teacher and the administrator. An optional Character reference is also available.
  • Birth Certificate

    Upload a copy of your Birth Certificate
  • Recent Standardized Testing Scores

    Standardized Testing results (MAPS, PSAT, IOWA, ERB, SBAC etc...) may vary by school. CCSD Infinite Campus users can access scores through Assessments.  If a student has not tested during current year, exam scores from previous years may be submitted.
  • Upload Grades

    We need grades from your current grade and your last two school years. Current grades can be uploaded after the 1st Quarter or Trimester.

  • Academic Support

    • IEP/504 Plan Documentation
    • Recent Neuropsychological Evaluation
    • Candidate In-Person Interview
  • International Student Admission

    • Gather documents such as the birth certificate, immunization records, copy of most recent transcripts for the past three years, and test scores (all documents must be translated and notarized if applicable).  Send Faith provided recommendation forms to administrators and teachers from checklist.

      Admissions Testing will be required at the discretion of the Admissions Team. Typically a student with Ds or Fs on the transcript will be required to take an entrance exam. A Math Placement Exam is required and will be emailed to students out of the country.  The prospective family will be notified about required testing once a transcript is submitted.

      One of the following English Proficiency Testing must be submitted:

      1. TOEFL iBT- minimum score of 60 or higher 
      2. TOEFL Jr- minimum score of 700 for MS and 780 for HS
      3. TOEFL Essential Online- minimum score of 8-8.5
      4. Duolingo English Test- minimum of 55 for MS and 85 for HS
       
      High School students should be at the CEFR B2 level, approaching B1 or higher.  Middle School students should be approaching B2 in all categories, but especially in Reading.  Please contact Alex Klenz at alex.klenz@flhsemail.org in International Admissions if your student has a lower score.

Step 3: Apply for Tuition Assistance (Optional)

Financial Aid is need-based and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Your financial application will not be reviewed until you are officially accepted to Faith Lutheran Middle School &  High School. Click here to learn more or apply for Financial Aid. Financial Aid application must be started prior to receiving an Admissions Decision as to not hold up your potential admission. This application opens on January 1, 2025.


Step 4: Schedule Your Interview

Applications close January 31st. After this date, we will send a request to schedule your interview. Notifications to schedule interviews will be sent out on January 9, 2025.
   
   

Step 5: Acceptance and Registration

Once the above steps are completed, acceptance notifications will be sent via email mid to late February. Upon acceptance to Faith Lutheran, you will return to your Crusader Connect account to complete the enrollment steps and registration fee within two weeks of your Notice of Admission to secure your place.
